as a boy,, it was this man i first worked for peeling the pataoes in the back of is shop in a freezing cold shed. with two lights one red and green indicating is need for more chips to be brought in or to wait if the red light was displayed..
he use to have a cue of people going round the block...
The last thing he wanted the people to see. who were cueing. was my ugly little face pop round the corner with chips in basket in hand. so that is were the red light came in i think. to stop me putting them of there dinner on a friday night.. ha ah..,..
