A presentation of 70 photo-works, post 9/11, is a collection of visuals culled from two related suites of works: 'Sinergi3s of Confluence' (SinCon), and an outgrowth of that series,'Equivalence'. Taken together they are a personal re-examination of sky, structure, and photography as tool, as mechanism to ferrit-out new meanings/relationships encoded therein. As the first decade post 9/11 is in sight, it seems quite natural to reveal imagination driven results of one visualists' efforts at a critical re-examination of the subject matter which sit at the center of this watershed American tragedy, sky & structure. Inasmuch as these works are all after the fact, they are equally aimed toward a future of challenges and solutions. A sincere hope is, beyond any entertainment value, a recognition of the linkage between imagination and visual literacy as humankind move forward in constructing the consequences of the collective acts of the day.
