Portrait, woman, romance,

I began painting professionally as an artist, six years ago. I am self taught, and I guess it's obvious, my favourite subjects are women and children.If I can draw my audience into my work, and convey a sense of peace and tranquility then, I have succeeded.Relationships, especially those between a mother and her children are precious. I find, there is something very satisfying from an artist's point of view, in being able to portray a woman going about her every day tasks, while at the same time managing to exude a serenity, that comes deep from within.I thank you, for taking the time to stop and look through my portfolio.

	Nice brush strokes and variation in this piece. The composition and the gesture of the woman depicted make this portrait particularly interesting. The title adds an interesting backstory.  9/26/2012
	This is magnificent painting, such a real details, amazing use of white colour brings in life in this portrait. The lady is very beautiful. I just do not understand why you didn't gave her the whole space, but left some background on top of her.  9/23/2012
