This barn was located north of the Concho School. At one time this was the Concho Indian Reservation. This barn was used by the infantry to house their horses and mules. The army was assigned to this area to keep the Indians in line. The property that surrounds this barn was deregulated by the Government and sold at auction. The family that owned this barn was concerned that it would fall down and hurt someone. During the disassembly, several old tools, horse shoes, and artifacts from that era were found. The barn could be seen from 81 highway.
