Alexander Rozhkov was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in 1957.
Graduated from the Tashkent State Art college named after P.P.Benkov in 1980. From 1980 to 1986 studied at the Ukrainian Academy of Arts in Kiev (the Fresco and Mural Painting Department).
Member of the Artists Union of Ukraine since 1992. Participated in international exhibitions since 1987.
His artworks are in Ukrainian museums and in private collections in Canada, Germany, Israel, Poland, Russia, USA, Spain, France.
The artist´s medium include easel painting and mural painting (fresco, mosaic, stained-glass etc.).
