Tshokwe Chair - These chairs were made to seat those who spoke for the king of the tribe and were carved by specialist, carving are different from that of figure sculpture and are ceremonial, the back uprights bear symbols fo male and female ancestors, face carvings have slanted wide closed eyes, narrow nose, and broad base nose, triangular shape chins, bronze metal on seat.
