Film Girl is part of my Body Series work, which is a group of abstract figures created mainly with steel wire, fabrics and/or handmade paper. Most of the figures are either convex or concave in nature. The convex forms symbolize the embodiment of a current self, feeling or event awaiting the metamorphosis to another level. Concave symbolizes the remnants of a former self, feeling or event that has changed and moved on, leaving behind a shell of memories.
