After my Mum's 50th birthday celebrations, I took a flight from Perth back to Monkey Mia. I was lucky enough to get a morning flight which happens to be my favourite part of the day as far as capturing the most vibrant colours of a scene goes.

The sun delved into the depths of the licheny silt interspersed by streaky seagrass beds revealing what can only be described as the luscious "Shark Bay Green" which cooled the rusted soil of the outer peninsula.
