Steve's weavings are three-dimensional. Everything is woven, wrapped or stitched. Each bush and branch is hand-wrapped of yarn. Cactus are individually woven, as are all the rocks and boulders. The background is woven on a loom then mounted on a canvas backing Next, all the myriad pieces are attached to create the finished weaving.
