A very colorful view of this famous palace in VENICE. A scene of every day`s life. The reflections of the building on the water gives the viewer of the painting the impression of standing right across from it. This is a very simple scene found anywhere in this town, though the light and shade of the gondolas give a most picturesque look to the painting. A truly impressive work of art executed with deep knowlegde of subject and colors. Oil on board 24"by 30", by accomplished Italian impressionist, NINO PIPPA. Nino Pippa's italian portraits reveal more about the artist than any biography could. Born on the island of Sardinia in 1950, Nino used oil paints to reflect his mediterranean surroundings from an early age. Having completed his fine arts studies in Cagliari, Rome, Florence, and Venice, the young artist parted from the Italian and French Impressionist style to study with acclaimed British artist, Edward Seago, in the early seventies. Seago guided Nino in developing his talent for vivid brushstrokes and unique colors, enabling him to support himself with his art. Since moving to America, Nino has often returned to his birth nation with paintbrush in hand to capture the life and architecture of Italian cityscapes and coastal villages. These prized portraits have found homes in private collections throughout the world
