The Caribbean Reef headboard is a marine design constructed from a combination of timber veneer ply wood including Silver Ash and American Walnut.
The seascape has been cast using a high grade acrylic resin which is poured into individual molds which have been hand-crafted. This molding technique is unique to Fantasy Dreams. Molded in the resin several shapes can be seen such as sea anemone, clown fish, molluscs of various sorts, seaweed and . Embedded within the resin is a selection of starfish, sea shells, coral, gemstones, glass beads, gold leaf and colorful Zwarovski crystals.
The 'Lionfish' has been hand-cut from individual timber veneer pieces in a technique known as marquetry. The timbers used include: ghost gum, ash, cherry and stringy gum.
