I love the ocean. This is a view looking up from some cavern under the sea at an aproaching ocean explorer. I love the effect of light shining down through water and this appears in many of my sea paintings.

Diver #2 is a very textured acrylic undersea painting. This just doesn't show up well on the computer. The diver and background are painted first, then layers of gesso are built up to form the rocky walls. Those are painted later then several layers of clear gloss are applied to the entire painting giving it a real "wet" look.

The frame is hand made and very inexpencive. It's there mainly to protect the art. Diver would really benifit from a better frame but I'll leave that up to you.
