The city was magnificent, and wealthy, a wonder that spawned tales and legends of grandeur. But it's wealth was built upon the backs of countless creatures enslaved by it's citizens.
The city was filled with rejoicing the day it's army brought back a captive baby dragon. The dragon was put on display until the citizens became tired of it, then it was put to work moving a vast pump that supplied the city with water. The people knew little of dragons, thinking it was only a poor dumb beast. Little did they realize the injuries they inflicted on the young dragon would be revisited upon them a thousand fold. Now the dragon sleeps under the leaning pillars of the cities' place, atop the wealth of the city scattered though with the bones of it's cruel citizens All that is left of the wondrous city is tales and legends of grandeur.
