For many generations a small vampiric dragon known only as Theess hunted his unsuspecting victims. But, as is the case with most predators, the day came when he misjudged his prey and became the hunted. He tried to drink the blood of a powerful sword smith. The sword smith caught the small dragon before he could sink his fangs and strangled Theess with his massive hands. Once Theess was dead the sword smith marveled at the beauty of the small dragon. He felt bad for killing such a elegant creature, no matter how evil his intentions. So he cast him in a solid piece of metal he then worked into a fine dagger keeping the dragon's head as decoration on the handle.
