Grateful and Loving
The woman is sitting upon the block of stone from which she seems to still
emerge, as if the artistic process of life is not yet and in fact, would
never complete.
In Leonardo´s art, emotion is never abstract; never disembodied. It´s always passionate: hence sensual, erotic.
