It's hard to tell what's real on Halloween in New Orleans! All cat lovers know that felines can see things that we humans sometimes cannot, and it is unclear in this scene if the young lady is real or only an apparition from years gone by in the old French Quarter. In any case, the Tuxedo Cat seems completely infatuated by her, and begs her to take him along with her. Perhaps she is real after all, and is dressing to go out to the Hallowe'en Costume Promenade that is advertised on a flier on the desk. It say "Prizes for Best Costumes - Come in Costume and Bring a Friend!" I believe that any cat who can levitate a wizard hat in the air over his head like that would be a shoe-in winner at a costume contest! Or is that hat on the desk?
