This jewelry box is designed to be simple but elegant. The exterior strips are all Wenge / Wengue and Mahogany has been set within it. A square Wenge design has been inlaid at the top of the jewelry box.
The jewelry box is hand carved & inlaid in solid Wenge and Mahogany wood. The two trays are also in solid Wenge and Mahogany and can be taken out. It is finished in french polish (shellac) and lacquer.
*Hand carved means the specific use of non-power hand held tools such as chisels - NO lasers, power tools, etc. are used*
The stays are gold plated. The piece is hand chiseled and branded by the carver.
