This beautiful Mesquite w/Turquoise inlay turned vase is a fabulous example of Dale Morris's talents. The mesquite was turned slightly off center in order to be able to leave a variety of features, such as a small patch of bark and sapwood along with the main body of hardwood. After the rough form was established the piece was then seasoned and re-turned to it's final form, then the voids cracks and worm holes were inlaid with turquoise and the interior was coated with a special turquoise recipe that is water proof, which makes this piece not only beautiful, but a functional, "one of a kind" work of art!
