Does God exist? Is there life after death? Does there exist more than the world we see hear and touch? These are the questions I seek to anwser in this painting. You see a Christian woman lantern in hand (like Diogenes she is looking for truth). Her journey takes her through some dark hills (this life). She is walking towards the Church in the distance and yet Eternity is all around her. Eternity is above the clouds on this earth and yet without limits. Eternity encompasses all and is only partially known. A piece of Eternity touches the womans lantern (epiphany) not because she arrived at her destination but rather because she was willing to endure the journey.
