18k gold, sterling silver, peridot; Fabricated from 22 guage 18K gold sheet, sterling wire, and sterling casting grain. After cutting the wings from the sheet, they were laid over wire and tapped with a hammer, creating a raised relief that suggests veining. Each of the multiple indentations in the wings were tapped in using a hammer and blunt nail.
