From the Pu'u Ka Pele Lookout, located past the 12 mile marker on 550 Waimea canyon drive from Waimea, the Waipo'o Falls are visible after a heavy rain. Here is the top of Mt. Pu'u Ka Pele (3,662 ft). Mt Wai'ale'ale in the island's center, it rains nearly every day, marking it the wettest place on earth. As the islands thrust themselves upward into the moisture-laden trade winds, their challenge to the rain clouds is accepted. The rain carves up the soft lava rock and red cray of this volcanic island. We can see two kinds of powers of Love, The volcano power from the earth ground and the beautiful sculpture created by mother nature. It is fear-inspiring. And the fear of the true creator is the beginning of wisdom. All those doing them have a good insight. his praise is standing forever. (Psalm 33:6~8, 111:9~10)
