ABSTRACTS ON CANVAS
I have done abstract paintings for more than 15 years. In my Abstracts, I respond to the existing scrim of colors with a series of more deliberate and intuitive marks. Carefully chosen hues and controlled brush strokes much like cursive handwriting begin to give a sense of order to the canvas, and so the matrix of the painting begins to evolve.
