'Allen Ginsberg', ©1969, Sam Smith: (1926-97) Arguably his ‘Howel’, a 1956 collection of poetic works, was initiation into the stratospheric world of the Global Literati of Poetics. As with Ginsberg himself, his works were a: rhythmic, gritty, powerful, energetic and at times heartbreaking manifestation of an era becoming known as the ‘Beat Generation’.
