New York is a town chock full of incongruency, I knew I had to make something but I also knew It had to be fast and not intrude. Seeing this as walking toward it I pre-set the camera, stooped to respond, and 'life' brought me a white descending tennis shoe. Without it this image would be entirely different, reletively bland and without a visual tension that provide an increased incongruent beauty.
All materials, techniques and colors used in producing this print are archivally in line with museum standards. Print is frontally titled and signed with copyright. A Giclee print (printed on a heavy watercolor paper substrate such as Arches) is available (same size) on a different pricing structure. All measurments are from the image edges and do not include the generous griping border. Each print also include instructions for care and if followed will extend print-life so as to provide many, many decades of viewing pleasure. Buyer will pick-up actual shipping and insurance costs. Should you be in Manhattan when you place your order, I'll personally deliver the print for less than shipping/insurance.
