One of a series of works based on photographs of trees that I took on the same winter's day that I finished the pieces (28th February 2006) They were all taken on the high moors around my wife Su's lovely village school on Stanton Moor at around 6.45 am. I have a tradition of working in the horizontal plane, influenced by the work of the conceptual artist Richard Journo, who also shows on this site.
