5 days without electricity. In all my 27 years of living in Florida, I don't remember the electricity ever going out for that long from a hurricane. When I was growing up, we had a generator, though, so maybe I just wasn't aware of it. There's definitely been an increase in #s and intensity though.
Tigerlily, Are you thinking of leaving Florida, or just your area? If I had known that you live there I would have worried about you as well as PBA. You were the 1st person to critique me at D'Art, so you'll always hold a special place in my heart (smiley face here--I don't do those).
