If you are interested in broadening your market to include customers from around the world, I have an on-line gallery (www.AmericanArtObjects.com) for artists specializing in heirloom quality, original artwork that is made here in America by artisans like yourself.
My philosophy is simple - provide the artist an opportunity to connect with buyers from around the world via a professionally made, on-line gallery; handle the purchases and customer support; and provide an easy way for you to ship artwork out to the customers. This allows you the opportunity to spend time in the studio focusing on the artwork and not on the sales and customer service. My terms and conditions are straightforward - you set the price, provide a description of the artwork, and send me the images of the item and I do the rest.
I take care of the advertising, search engine optimization, sales transactions, credit card processing, customer service, website updates, and all other extraneous management related items, which lets you focus on your forte - creating beautiful heirloom quality artwork.
Once the artwork is sold, my commission is twenty five percent of the sale price. Upon purchase approval, an automatic order for pickup will be made via Fed-Ex, UPS or USPS (dependant on product size and weight). You then package up the item, and ship it off to the customer with plenty of insurance included. Shortly after the art object has been shipped and signed for by the customer, I send you the balance owed to you via PayPal (Net 30 days). It's that simple.
