Think of your project as the beginning of a succession of studies. Have you drawn the nude you want to paint yet? If no, then I'm suggesting that you start by doing some drawing studies. This will give you practice in forming the curves, seeing them over and over again, and getting them into your muscles.

Then decide how you want to go from there. Do you want to lightly trace a drawing on a canvas based on your previous drawing studies, or do you want to go for it by trying to paint and draw at the same time?

Regardless, you must realize that it's probably going to take you numerous trials and errors, both within the same painting, and within a possible series of paintings in which you finally get something that you can live with.
