I recently received a beautiful oil painting as a Christmas gift. The signed name is "M. Rives", and I have found no date. The dealer said it was an antique but I'm sure lots of them say that. The colors are mostly blues & greens with some gray. The focal point of the painting is a huge tree, I would say maybe a Japanese Maple, kind of twisty, curvy limbs. You can see a castle in the background and there is a stream with ducks. If anyone has any information, please contact me. I've had no luck finding anything. Thanks!! sarahhodges78@hotmail.com
