Any assistance at all, even in just helping to provide the proper genre, would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance for your interest and time.
I have a set of 2 paintings. The set hangs with a man (left picture) looking at a woman (right picture). The paintings are watercolor on silk, they have some type of jade colored highlights, and are entitled 'Forever Young'.
As best I can describe them, they have similarities with both Art Deco, and the style from 'Metropolis'. I have reason to believe that they were imported from Peking sometime in the early 1900s (odd, I know).
There is not much else I can share. I would be happy to email a photograph, just drop me a line.
Sincerly,
Lisa Vaughn
