I hope that you will take a serious look into finishing the 4 years so that at least your 3 isn't a total washout...you only have about 3 semesters to go and you're through. Finishing something you started is an important part of the integrity of your character...especially for an artist.

Quiting when you loose enthusiasm for school...what's next, you loose enthusiasm for art too? Great artists get through the tough bleak periods, those who don't are never remembered and their work quickly finds itself in the garbage.

Most college students have some sort of public financial aid involved in their programs. As soon as you quit, the bill comes due in 6 months. A student loan will follow you to your grave if you don't square it.

What would you rather be doing:

- Sitting in a class you don't like and do art when you can as part of a structured schedule?

OR

- Digging a ditch or bussing tables, and only do art when you can scratch enough money and energy to do art once in a great while?

Regards,

Charles
