You are right when you say that "there will be a greater demand and appreciation for Graphic Designers in the future". Everyone with a computer thinks that they are a graphic designer now, and so in some ways, the stuff you see is getting worse (passable, but never great). The differences between a professional piece and one which was thrown together by someone who just happens to know a computer program are very apparent and probably will become only more so as more people attempt to self-publish. Am I a Design Snob or what?
