Progressive, independent magazine seeks motivated, highly communicative designer ready to push creative limits. New Voices is the country’s only independent Jewish student magazine, has a national readership of 26,000, and is run by three twenty-somethings.
We need an experienced and exciting graphic designer for our upcoming issue. We want to go to press April 3, so you must be ready to work quickly and closely with the staff of the magazine. This is a great portfolio booster for an art student or early-career artist.
New Voices will pay $800 upon completion of the project, which will be 40 pages long.
Requirements:
Located in or around Manhattan (office is in Chelsea)
Unique and cutting edge approach to design
Portfolio that shows experience with print design
At least one print design-related reference
Highly email accessible and communicative
Expertise in adobe indesign, photoshop
