i make a much higher wage at graphic design than I do at fine art. I can't charge nearly what i make per hour at graphic design (100 to 150 per hour) and my art sales are too far apart to make a healthy living at fine art, while I make much more consistant income at graphic design.

the irony is: I'd trade graphic design in PERMANENTLY if I could do fine art and make the same amount consistantly. that's my goal.
