I first saw an Art Gore piece after my in-laws went to Colorado and brought home "Strawberry Ice Cream". I fell in love with it and always wished for my own. Several years later my family visited Colorado and I obtained some placemats, one of which was "Strawberry Ice Cream". The placemats never made it to the dinner table and were left behind in a move. But, I mentioned my love for her print and my (then former) Mother-in-law gave me hers, which is now matted and framed and hangs proudly on my kitchen wall. It has a wax stamp on it. I also have the one with the rocking horse, teddy bear and doll (Teddy Bear Picnic?) which hangs in our bathroom. I purchased it and a larger "Strawberry Ice Cream" and a few postcards on Ebay. I hope I got these through legal sources. But I love them no matter where they came from. I always look for his work whenever possible.
