Self-regarded 'honesty' and 'polemical diatribe' are not mutually exclusive categories (cf Freud et al). We are all honest to our own world views.
And your contributions to the Cafe (not just this thread) seem to imply that conventioal forms of 'success' in the arts are 'money' or power driven on the part of 'successful' artists. I disagree with this, (although this does not mean that this cannot happen in certain cases).
I would seek neither money nor power from participation in the FB (should I decide to participate). Nor am I one of those superannunated rich people you speak of - I will certainly need sponsorship to participate in the FB.
