From personally experience - It depends what you are looking for.
1) Do you want gallery/publishing house/brokers to represent you?
2) Or are you looking only for new clients to buy directly from you?
3) Or both?
4) How long you have been painting....
I have found that each have their own special needs - you need to tailor your approach to each.
