I am also investigating the costs and possiblities of raising sponsorship. Please let me know of any findings you think significant. Clearly aside from the high fee to rent space, the cost of shipping is a major factor and then - if that proves potentially worth it - deciding on whether to attend or not which would add considerable extra costs to the process. As you may have noted from the posts here, some are rightly sceptical of the cost verses the potential benefits involved.
btw - I note that you have a quotation from a German source on your web site, that might account for the letter in German if they found you (as i think they must have me) via web searches.
