My dad just recently discovered an etching by Barrymore and somehow thinks he can get thousands of dollars for it (Point Pleasant). I think truly the value of this particular 'artist' is based on the holder. To some, it may be worthless, due to the fact of not knowing what or who Barrymore was. On the other hand, you may have the fanatics that just love Mr. Barrymore and his movies, and would pay a nice price for anything in relation to him.
My question is, though, how can you be certain if the piece is real or not? Also, I am interested in seeing how this piece will do in an auction in a local auction house in Houston, TX? Any advice?
Thank you everyone!
