Marjorie Blake and her husband Don were neighbors of ours in Northridge California when we were first married in 1968. Marjorie gave us a painting as a wedding gift. It was a table with a bottle of wine and a vase of flowers. It was done in very bright colors ( oranges and Greens ). We've been married now for 38 years and we still have the painting. She also gave us a couple of small abstract paintings of clowns. I was thinking about her and happened to do a search on the net to see if there was any information about her work. My husbands aunt also had one of the prints of her poppy painting that was sold in the department stores at that time.
