Subject: Pour Roby - Early One?

I know the story on this etching, and have had 2 of them. The first was the standard small one with small gold trimmed frame and it had the COA and gold seal on the back. I have researched these in the market and it was the same as everyone I have seen for sale. I think the value is a few hundred dollars tops.

I have since sold the first and purchased a second one at an estate sale locally. It is different in many ways from the first one. It is on much larger, heavy Rives paper. The paper has two cut edges and the other two are torn using a straight edge of some sort. It has a few very tiny age spots, but otherwise is perfect. When framing it I noticed the inked lines have quite a bit of height, as though they soaked up much more ink than the smaller one.

My question is, could this be one of the single copies made during Roby's lifetime? I have imagined that the earlier ones are more valuable because they may have been printed one at a time to support Roby and not a large run as I imagine the smaller ones with COA are. Most prints are printed in one run, so are all identical. If the story behind this one is correct, then the early ones are all different. Different paper, ink, printer and press. Is this logical thinking?

Can anyone share their thoughts on this matter and possibly help me with a value for this etching.

Regards,
John
