I am so tired of searching. Please help me find the name of a painter or name of painting. My grandmother has a great very old oil on canvas of what appears to be a slave women or maid facing a fireplace, a white women very well dressed seated in a chair and a cat eating in the middle of the floor. I cant make out the signiture but it seems like it begins with an M and then a letter W for the second or middle initial. Can anyone help to guide me to the correct site if I am not to ask for help here? siahny@comcast.net
