Hi Shana, I also have a George E Lee painting which my mother bought in California. I live in Australia - Brisbane. Some time back I contacted an art dealer in Nappa Valley (on the back of painting is the artist suppliers name and they referred me to the dealer) who knew your father but was unable to give me any information and only this morning I tried again.
This painting is beautiful - a yacht - probably 50/60 feet with a dingy trailing at anchor at either dusk or dawn - no one has been able to decide. On the back of the canvas is No A 122
My mother is also deceased. She moved to USA years ago and I have a sister who lives in Sacramento but no one has been able to trace your Dad.
I would love any information and would happy to send a photo of this painting.
