Creativity - Health - Unity
Robert Kernodle is best described as a philosophical painter. Compared to historical, landscape, portrait, or purely decorative painters of a single style, he paints in series. These series, although visually different, have an underlying unity. He associates them with poetry, science and ideas about what being a human really is. He believes that all forms spring from an eternal energy ocean with no beginning or end:
"As in fluid reality,... so in the fluid realm of paint - all things claim the same foundation."
With early interests in science and math, he eventually focused on human movement and dance. Listed multiple times in WHO'sWHO as a dance educator, he retired from this activity, and now leads a less intense life of health, contemplation and enjoyment of each day.
