Himme Productions, a Memphis based greeting cards and calendar company, presents its 2007 Spring Juried Art/Photo Competition. The theme of this show is "Scenes of Spring: Flora and Fauna" and the media can be color drawings, paintings, or photography that focuses on the scenic beauty of nature as found in the spring. Deadline for submission is April 30, 2007. Artwork should exclude any human figures.
Awards are $1,000 in total cash prizes: 1st place $600, 2nd place $250, 3rd place $150, and 4 Honorable Mentions (no cash award). A non-refundable entry fee is required. Competition is open to all U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older. All images must be submitted on a PC compatible CD, in high resolution dpi and in JPG format. Entries will be judged by Donna Bowers, owner of Painted Planet Artspace gallery, Memphis, TN and will be on display from May 29th - June 8th. Winners' artwork will be featured on greeting cards by Himme Productions.
