I also have one of your Dads paintings. I was traveling to the west coast on vacation in 1977 when I strolled into an art gallery on Fishermans Warf. I don't recall the name, would you know it? There on the wall was this oceanscape by your father that instantly took my breath away. It is an oil with the markings SW 508 on the back. It is 18 x 24 and is in a dark wood frame. I bought it for my parents and they proudly had it in their house until they died. My wife and I now have it in our livingroom. I never realized that he did larger pieces such as the ones described by other responders on this site. They must be spectacular! I've always been curious about the current value of my painting. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has gotten information such as that about their valued works. Your dad was extremely talented and you should be very proud.
