you may be more productive because you'll be out of the way of the family. I work in my house and my kids and wife are always knocking on the door and I have to stop for however long... as little as 2 min as long as 2 hours. Never know. I'm looking forward to finally getting my own studio space in Memphis. Maily as a way of getting to do my art without distractions. If its two rooms then perhapse you could cut the cost in half and rent it with another artist friend of yours.
