You might be interested to see an excellent collection of oil paintings by Vitali Komarov, Russian artist who enjoys working from nature at http://www.komarovart.com. Embedded in the European tradition, he strongly inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, developing further the techniques and vision introduced by the master.
