I was just in Tucson and stopped in a few galleries to get a taste of the local art scene and came across this wonderful artist, Susan Rene. Her paintings are filled with vibrant colors, and being an animal lover, the subject matter is dogs and cats. This is not your dogs and cats playing poker or with a ball of yarn. These are very nicely done, more of a whimsical view of dogs and cats in the world.
