I dunno,... I was just pondering today,... reflecting back on my various activities and involvements over the years,... and I came to the conclusion that, no matter how refined we aspire or profess to be, we all (at heart) are basically crude.

In my brief time teaching ballroom dance,... I remember that the best dancers seemed to be psycho's, or hindered in their "real lives" by dysfunctional relationships, or bitter, or drunks, or ..... well, you get the idea,... totally their non-graceful opposites OFF STAGE.

At parties of wealthy local people that I've attended, ... I remember the most respected philanthropists in the community groveling in mock debauchery under the dining room table as a form of escapist entertainment,... OR at a young neuvo-riche gathering, I remember friends of the hostess engaging in mock girl-on-girl sex on a pool table,... or there's a closed-gate community private gathering that traditionally ends in empty wine bottles being thrown and smashed onto a raised manhole cover, with prizes to the person who gets the most hits,... again as quaint fun escapism from the refined status quo.

The nicest people belch for fun. The most attractive women fart for fun.

Dali and Picasso, to name just two famous artists, were sexually obsessed. Aren't we all?

Think about it! If not for crudeness, then refinement would mean NOTHING.

Human beings are basically crude, so that they might have a basis for being refined.

?...!
